Well hasn't Dave Batista's burgeoning acting career been quite the pleasant surprise? The Animal may not be returning to a WWE ring anytime soon (and who can blame him after how mishandled his last run was?) but he's certainly going to be making his way into cinemas again. As well as starring in the Kickboxer reboot, big Dave also has a big role in upcoming Bruce Willis vehicle Marauders. The film, which also stars the fantastic Chrisopher Miloni, is an action-crime-thriller-heist film about a group of elite bank robbers being traced by a suicidal FBI agent, who is convinced there's a deeper meaning to their spree. It's another significant role for Batista, who will get top billing alongside Miloni and Willis. Odds are that Batista is going to be playing one of, if not the main heavy, since Willis is cast as a bank manager and Miloni is the suicidal agent in question. There haven't been many on-set photos, a trailer or much of anything about the film released yet, but it's no doubt going to require a watch if only to see the former Deacon share screen time with another A-list heavyweight. Given how incredibly difficult Bruce Willis has been to work with these past couple of years (just ask Kevin Smith), there may have been a behind-the-scenes Batista Bomb or two that we don't know about, too. No official release date has been given, but it will be receive a theatrical release by Lionsgate Premiere sometime later this year.
