Jeremiah Crane was the best addition to the Lucha Underground roster since Matanza. Although his brief introductory dalliance with Ivelisse wasn't great, his interactions with Catrina were sinister fun. Plus, his matches grew more aggressive and entertaining every time he stepped into the ring.

By the time the Cueto Cup rolled around, Crane made every one of his matches feel dangerous. So when pitted against his storyline rival for Catrina's affections, Mil Muertes, he went full-bore at the Man of a Thousand Deaths in one of the best matches in LU history.

Muertes beat Crane from pillar to post, delivering a horrendous Reaper's Trident during Crane's attempted loop of the ring-turned-cannonball, and destroyed him with a leaping chokeslam. Even in defeat, Crane looked like a psychotic badass, weathering the storm of Mil Muertes long enough to enjoy an unexpected post-match makeout session with Catrina.
