9. Scott Hall Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin - WrestleMania X8
Despite personal problems marring his second run in the WWE, Scott Hall managed to put on a really solid match with Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania in 2002. This was a really entertaining feud featuring two mean seemingly close to the peak of their powers. The match itself was hard hitting with Stone Cold trying to take the offence to Hall, who played the role of the heel to a tee. He openly tried to slow the pace down and pulled on every trick in the book to get the better of the Texas Rattlesnake. Once again, here we had two guys who just understood the story telling aspect of professional wrestling, which at the end of the day goes a long way to putting a great match on. In the end Stone Cold would go over, with Hall overselling a Stunner to the max. And people thought The Rock overdid things... Nevertheless, it was a fine match and one of the best from both men's careers. It's a shame Hall was released from the company less than two months after Mania, preventing proceedings from being carried forward and realising their true potential. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4aAWsyNmlw
