5. 1-2-3 Kid Vs. Razor Ramon - RAW 1993
Is 'Kid', as he's affectionately known to his fellow Kliq members, the most underrated talent of the modern era? Matches like this suggest so. This was the match that scored the 1-2-3 Kid a WWF contract after appearing under a number of names as an enhancement guy in previous weeks. It was the ultimate underdog victory that when booked correctly is something truly wonderful to behold. This match would launch the pair into a very entertaining story line which included a match with 10,000 of Razor's dollars on the line and a 'cry baby' match where the loser was dressed in a nappy. The man that would go on to be X Pac had other stellar bouts against the likes of Bret 'The Hitman' Hart and Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar corporation. This was the match that set his storied career off however which means it trumps all comers. Razor's business nous can't be underestimated here either. He could have looked at Pac as nothing more than a jobber and refused to put him over. After all, you would expect a man of Scott Hall's size to dismantle a Sean Waltman in next to no time. Thank goodness he didn't... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obwnbKlbysM
