10 Myths About Brock Lesnar That Are Entirely False

6. Brock Goes Off-Script In Matches

I suppose you can blame it on the Ambrose match and the recent Randy Orton controversy, but there seems to be this myth floating around that Brock “goes off-script” to make himself look better in matches. This is absurdity of the highest form and only the most markish among the fan base would ever insinuate such a thing. Despite the fact that Vince McMahon and Orton have both confirmed that the SummerSlam bout went according to plan, there still exists a pocket of fanatics who believe Lesnar went rogue and opened up Randy’s skull for the fun of it.

The fact is, Brock doesn’t need to “shoot” on his opponents, and his booking is already that of an unstoppable monster. Not only that, but he would put over Heath Slater in ten seconds if the money was right. Lesnar is not a mark for himself when it comes to pro wrestling, and as long as his checks clear he’s not concerned with looking strong because he can make the distinction because predetermined and real life combat.

This thought process is so bizarre that I was hesitant to include it on this list but since SummerSlam it’s become more and more prevalent, so it needed addressing. When the bell rings, Lesnar will do what is asked of him and there’s no evidence to the contrary.
