10 Name-Drops You Never Thought WWE Would Allow (But They Somehow Did)

2. Kurt Angle Suggests Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn Head Over To TNA

In April 2018, Kurt Angle was running a questionable ship on Monday Night Raw. That being said, even he knew that having anything to do with the despicable duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn was probably a bad idea.

So, when he was faced with the potential of recruiting these two former indie darlings to his Raw roster - after they'd lost their spots on the SmackDown Live brand - he had one simple answer for them.

"My tag division is full, but I hear that TNA is hiring."

*Drops the mic and walks away*

The clearly audible 'OOOOOOOH!' which erupted from the blown away crowd speaks volumes about just how harsh a burn this was on the former rival of McMahon and it really signalled just how far the once competitive company had fallen since their WWE challenging heyday.

However, it was still slightly surreal to see one of the former megastars of TNA in its prime openly throwing shade at a company which embraced him upon his 2006 exit from WWE.

Many never thought they'd see the day Angle would be caught throwing stones at TNA, yet there it was on a post-WrestleMania edition of Raw.
