10 New Directions After AEW All Out 2022

6. The Acclaimed Grabbing Gold

Chicago's fanbase really wanted to see Max Caster and Anthony Bowens become the new AEW Tag-Team Champions. That's not a diss against Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, it's simply the truth. People are red hot for The Acclaimed right now, and Tony Khan won't be able to deny them for much longer.

Hey, Tony..."Liiiiiisteeeeeen!".

If the bout at All Out proved one thing, it's that Caster/Bowens are one of the best duos AEW has. They also tick a box that 'Swerve In Our Glory' doesn't; they're a proper, full-time tag-team who have been together for years. No amount of hastily-tacked on names for Lee/Strickland can match that.

The Acclaimed deserve those titles ASAP. If AEW can ride the crest of a wave coming out of Sunday, then they should be able to present a rematch with big Keith and Swerve as one worthy of a Dynamite main event over the next month or so.
