10 New Directions After WWE Crown Jewel 2022

2. Brock Vs. Bobby III

This isn't a guess.

Brock and Bobby are now one win apiece after Crown Jewel, and both characters will have gripes about the way they took an 'L'. Some interference from Roman Reigns screwed Lesnar over at Royal Rumble, and Lashley dominated the entire match on Saturday before slipping on a proverbial banana peel.

There's something else to keep an eye on after Crown Jewel too; Triple H deleted Hell In A Cell from the annual pay-per-view calendars after 14 straight events that played to diminishing returns in terms of anticipation. That clever (and overdue) decision frees the famous gimmick up for rivalries that merit it.

Lesnar and Lashley are locked at 1-1, and there's a lot of bad blood between them after everything that's happened. Could they be the first post-HIAC pay-per-view era combo to work the big cage on a supershow early next year? Maybe even at 'Mania?

In the interim, Brock can go home and Bobby can reheat as a heel.
