Chris Jericho launched into a fantastic rant during the post-Forbidden Door press conference on Sunday night. The end result was Tony Khan agreeing to book a tornado tag pitting Jericho and Sammy Guevara vs. Sting and Darby Allin. Surely, surely that'll lead to Sting vs. Jericho one-on-one.

Previously, Jericho had claimed that he wasn't interested in working the Stinger in a singles setting. B*llocks to that! This is a bout Jericho could've only dreamed about during the WCW days, and he wasn't on Sting's radar when the legend joined WWE later either. AEW could make it happen.

AEW should make it happen.

Sting vs. Jericho would be a neat addition to the undercard at All In over in the UK. It's the kind of showdown between two legacy stars that'd bolster the card, especially if it was fought under 'No DQ' or lumberjack rules so the vets could use all manner of tricks to cover their respective deficiencies in 2023.

This is All Elite's only chance to pull the trigger.
