10 New Directions For AEW After Revolution 2022

3. Chris Jericho Going Heel?

Before Revolution, yours truly guessed that Chris Jericho would turn heel by kicking Eddie Kingston in the stones and flipping off the fans. That didn't quite happen as predicted, but Jericho definitely showed a heelish edge before, during and after his feisty grudge match.

The Inner Circle leader wasn't smiling as fans belted out Fozzy's 'Judas' number, and he gave them the middle finger as boos rained down mid-match. Then, to cap things off, Jericho refused to shake hands with Kingston afterwards. All of this is surely adding up to a heel run.

Why should the 'Influencer' take that loss to Eddie in stride?

Jericho carries himself like the best, and he's always had some arrogance as a babyface as well. Now, he can ditch the grins and go full-on !*$%. Seeing a fired-up Jericho break down some walls (ahem) and pitch another bout with Kingston at Double Or Nothing sounds fun.
