10 New Directions For WWE After Clash Of Champions 2016
1. Seth Rollins Vs. Stephanie McMahon
Okay, obviously I’m not expecting Seth Rollins to face Stephanie McMahon in an actual match, but a Rollins vs. Steph feud of some sort does seem likely after the events that followed Clash of Champions.
In a WWE.com exclusive, post-show footage showed Stephanie meeting her husband Triple H, all smiles and sunshine, declaring that the show went great and thus seemingly suggesting that the two have been in cahoots all along. Which makes total since given the fact that they’re married and all.
Of course, Steph continues to plead ignorance, and that the “it went great” comment referred to the overall show as opposed to Rollins' defeat in particular, but at this point it’s nigh on impossible to believe that. Once the beans are spilled and presumably we find out that Steph was colluding with Triple H in screwing Rollins out of the Universal Championship, expect the tension to reach its boiling point with Rollins going into a full-blown feud with the Commissioner of Monday Night Raw.
That in turn will likely lead to a Seth Rollins vs. Triple H meeting at some point down the line, and while it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly when that might happen, it now seems to be more a case of “when” rather than “if”.
