Any true lover of traditional tag-team wrestling must hate it when WWE pull out the old 'odd couple' partners gimmick, remove the need for a division at all and revolve everything around two singles stars. That's what they did with Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman recently, but the nightmare is over.

Tags everywhere have a beacon of hope in the form of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

They've gelled quickly, have in-ring savvy for days and should help elevate actual tag wrestling to the forefront of Raw for the next few months. Their win at Clash bodes well for the roster's other duos who must've been feeling like no-hopers when WWE were busy fawning over the tension of Braun and Seth's alliance.

Now, all going well, Raw's tag ranks will get back to basics. With three hours to fill every single Monday, it'd be nice if WWE's writers could find room for a proper, fully-fleshed title feud and a spin-off between two teams looking to muscle in on the championship picture.
