10 New Directions For WWE After Clash Of Champions 2019

9. A Bludgeon Brothers Comeback

Who knows, one of those teams could be a reworked Bludgeon Brothers.

Although it's unlikely that Luke Harper and Erick Rowan will bring back their comedically large hammers now the former is back from WWE doghouse hell, all signs do point towards them reuniting as a tag. Whether that's on Raw or SmackDown is anyone's guess (as if brand division matters any more, right?).

Even if they're not called 'Bludgeon' and get an entirely new gimmick, it is great to see Harper back in the fold. He's been such a wasted talent rotting on the sidelines for months, and that's not something WWE can afford in this increasingly-more-competitive wrestling environment. Expect he and Rowan to start dominating one or both of WWE's tag divisions in the long term.

In the short term, they're surely heading for another clash with Roman Reigns. There's no way the 'Big Dog' will be booked to take what happened on Sunday lying down. Hmm, some sort of handicap match may be incoming soon.
