10 New Directions For WWE After Clash Of Champions 2019

7. Braun Strowman Dropping Back Down The Card (Again)

The non-stop up and down booking of Braun Strowman continues; he really is this generation's Big Show in that respect. Whenever WWE are stuck for a World Title opponent who looks the part, they strap a rocket to Braun and expect fans to play along. His match with Seth Rollins on Sunday, whilst perfectly fine, did exemplify diminishing returns.

He's another who could be SmackDown bound for that very reason.

WWE will want to even the rosters out as much as possible now SmackDown is on FOX, and Braun would be a high-profile enough star to be newsworthy. The only negative p*ssing on this parade is that WWE are still unsure how to book him when he's not gunning for the top titles. It's been a struggle since day one to present him as anything other than a wrecking ball monster.

Raw or SmackDown, Braun is sliding back down towards the mid card glut. He only nestled into the spot of challenger at Clash Of Champions because WWE didn't have anyone better in mind. It'd be a big surprise if he wasn't bumped from the main event pack.
