10 New Directions For WWE After Clash Of Champions 2019

4. The End Of KofiMania?

Loyal Kofi Kingston fans still basking in his WrestleMania title glory must be thinking one word and one word only following Clash Of Champions. It's a simple, four-letter punch that sums up how things are going for a guy who people forced Vince McMahon to change his mind about, and it captures frustrations about the possibility of change.

Sh*t.

Is this the end of 'KofiMania'? Sunday's match with Randy Orton was another miss in a feud of many, and it totally failed to capitalise on a hot, table-breaking angle from TV. Whereas Orton and Kofi are keen to ramp up the bad blood on SmackDown, they're happy to open important pay-per-view title bouts with a rudimentary lock up. That sums up the lack of fire here.

Fans in North Carolina were willing to voice their displeasure over this baffling dullness. They actually booed Kingston, and not because they're smart-assed d*cks rebelling against WWE. They jeered because Kofi's title run is so utterly bland at the moment. There's a sense it's about to end.
