10 New Directions For WWE After Elimination Chamber 2023

4. WWE's Elusive Steve Austin Dream Match

Anyone who follows Steve Austin on social media will have watched some of his 'on the road' workout vids. The legend likes to keep in shape, and he looked excellent during last year's battle with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. Perhaps 'Stone Cold' has been persuaded to step up one more time.

It'd be a real pity if his comeback tour was some one and done situation anyway. If WWE can coax the favourite back to the ring, then Brock Lesnar is surely waiting as his most viable opponent. Showing those guys on a match graphic is pure box office, and it needs to happen.

Screw Lesnar vs. literally anybody else.

Brock would likely jump at the chance to suplex Austin around the place, and the icon would get a kick out of the physicality/seriousness Lesnar brings to his matches. Besides, they could always brawl around ringside and into the crowd like Steve did with KO last time.
