10 New Directions For WWE After Elimination Chamber 2023

3. New Tag-Team Champs

Sami Zayn refused to pile more agony on Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble. That defiance got him booted from The Bloodline, but KO returned the favour by rushing to Sami's aid at Elimination Chamber. You just know this story doesn't finish there - not quite yet.

Some old pals are about to reunite and take tag-team gold.

Many fans called this booking even before Sami stepped up to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed strap(s). It makes perfect sense to have Zayn thank Owens, then pitch that they reunite to tear down The Usos. Naturally, that'll come after Jey Uso quizzes Sami about his accidental spear in Montreal.

Suggestion: WWE crowns Kev and Sami as the new champs, moves on from The Usos as a full-time unit for the time being and keeps the fun Drew McIntyre and Sheamus combo ticking along in the background. Creative can even try on a heel run for those chaps if they need instant challengers for Zayn and KO.
