9. Raw Women’s Title Shot For Bayley
Sticking with the Raw Women’s Championship picture, and a more immediate new direction is seemingly going to be the search for a challenger to Charlotte’s newly-regained title.
Obviously Sasha Banks is going to be in line for an automatic rematch, but you get the feeling that they’ve now milked this feud for all its worth and that Charlotte will likely retain.
Moving beyond that, you’d have to say that Bayley is probably the best-placed candidate for a shot at Charlotte’s gold. Not only did she defeat Dana Brooke at Hell in a Cell, but technically she’s still kind of due a title shot having seemed destined for a one-on-one showdown with Charlotte after initially being called up to Raw back in August.
Sasha’s return to action ultimately saw that story derailed, but now seems like the optimum time to revisit that rivalry and have Bayley mount a proper challenge for honours. Plus, who else is there on the Raw roster who’s realistically worthy of that place?
