10 New Directions For WWE After Hell In A Cell 2016

6. Tension Between Enzo & Cass

Let me start this one by saying that this isn’t necessarily a new direction I’d welcome. It is, however, one that I wouldn’t be surprised to see given the way things are playing out for Enzo & Cass.

On the mic, Enzo Amore continues to prove himself untouchable. His pre-match trash talk on Sunday evening was just as good as anything we’ve seen from Muscles Marinara in the past. His performance in the subsequent match though; not quite so great.

After Big Cass appeared to be clearing house, taking care of both Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson pretty much single-handedly, Enzo would tag himself into the fray and the tide of the match turned immediately. Seconds later, he was taking the Magic Killer and eating the pin in a rare win for the Club.

As much as I’d rather not see it, the way in which the momentum completely flipped upon Enzo’s introduction makes me think that the writers could be teasing tension within the ranks of the team—specifically due to the fact that whenever they lose it never seems to be Cass’ fault.

Fingers crossed I’m wrong here, because an Enzo & Cass break-up is just about the last thing we need to see right now.
