10 New Directions For WWE After Hell In A Cell 2016
5. A Proper Push For The Club
Speaking of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, it seems appropriate to discuss their win a little further given that it brings an end to a fairly torrid run over these past few weeks and months.
After spending what seemed like an eternity attempting—and failing—to win the Raw Tag Team Championships, the last two remaining members of the Club seemed to get their mojo back on Sunday when Anderson pinned Enzo clean in the middle.
Now, this could simply be a piece of the old 50/50 booking, with Anderson notching his win back having lost to Enzo on Raw last week. But personally I hope it’s the start of a new direction for Gallows and Anderson in which they actually string some decent wins together, back up their claims to be putting the division on notice, and finally establish themselves as a credible tag team.
Plus, with the reigning Raw Tag Team Champions currently busy with their own set of challengers, there’s plenty of time for the Club to be built up as the monster faction that deserve to be portrayed as. Here’s hoping it works out better than their initial debut though…
