10 New Directions For WWE After Money In The Bank 2016

6. Kevin Owens Is About To Go On A Tear

Dean Ambrose MITB

While Owens ultimately failed to capture the MITB briefcase, it’s pretty clear that he’s on the verge of breaking out in WWE. The cocky Canadian played a pivotal role in the ladder match, engaging in heated exchanges with old and new foes alike, powerbombing poor Sami Zayn onto a bridged ladder, and eating a brutal-looking Michinoku Driver onto a ladder’s edge near the match’s mid-point.

Owens has so much fuel coming-out of this match. He looked to be en route to victory until Ambrose, a familiar rival, knocked him from the top of the ladder, and there’s no way that a man with Owens’ sense of self-privilege is going to let that lie.

No, Owens is going to be angry: very, very angry. With Dean Ambrose looks to be tied-up with Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns for the foreseeable future, look for Owens to take that anger out on his old nemesis Zayn. Their story may never truly end, and that’s the beauty of it.
