10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 35

4. A New Client For Paul Heyman?

The moment Paul Heyman marched past Alexa Bliss & Hulk Hogan and down to the ring to insist his client Brock Lesnar opened the show, you knew WrestleMania 35 was going to be brilliant...long, but brilliant.

Seth Rollins being crowned Universal Champion was a momentous occasion and a seismic shift in the world of WWE. Brock Lesnar's part-time stranglehold on the title is finally gone, he's free to return to the UFC, and Paul Heyman is now an advocate without a client.

Almost every single superstar on the roster would benefit from Heyman's representation. He has the ability to sell you any wrestler as a legitimate threat, talk fans into the building, and hype the lamest of matches.

A year ago I was bouncing off the walls with excitement as Shinsuke Nakamura turned heel following his WWE Championship match defeat to AJ Styles; anticipating Brock's departure and a subsequent client opening for Heyman.

That never came to pass, but just glancing at the WWE roster for potential contenders for his advocacy should bring those feelings flooding back.

Whether it be Samoa Joe or Braun Strowman, Finn Balor or Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre or even Cesaro, if Heyman chooses to represent someone new, expect big things from them.
