Sure, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens did come to blows during their Triple Threat effort alongside Logan Paul, but agents made sure to position both babyfaces as reluctant foes. Their friendship was made obvious when KO backed up his golf cart to give Randy a ride down the ramp before the match even started.

The guess here is that Orton and Owens come together to enable one of the easiest tag-team names in company history: "R-KO". That simple play on Randy's finisher and Kev's shortened nickname rolls off the tongue nicely, and writers have set the scene for more interplay between the pair anyway.

Don't forget that Owens was previously feuding with Waller and Theory on SmackDown too. It wouldn't be hard for creative to slip right back into that issue, albeit with Randy as KO's backup against the clownish new SmackDown Tag Champs.

Yes, that prior rivalry was poor, but WWE probs hasn't given up on it yet.
