Moving forwards toward the summer, WWE need to book Reigns in a way that makes his fans happy, while at the same time keeping his haters invested.

That means booking him in PPV matches that are of good value in their own right. Triple H and Jericho tick those boxes, and then by the time of Money In The Bank, it could be time to start the Shield triple threat narrative.

It is a match that all fans have wanted to see for a long time, meaning there'll be very few people complaining about the booking. Rollins will return, forcing his rematch clause. Ambrose will then make his case, leading to Reigns granting both of them a shot in a triple threat. That's what a babyface champion would do.

Of course, there would be inevitable boos for Reigns in the match, but based on the inevitable quality of action, he'll be more over in the aftermath. Pinning Rollins would be the finish, which had in fact been the original plan for last year's Survivor Series.
