10 New Directions For WWE Champion Roman Reigns

2. Living On The Edge Of A Heel Turn

What has undermined Roman Reigns thus far, has been his goody two shoes scripting. What WWE should do, is take him in the direction of always being on the edge of a heel turn. That would be exciting, it would engage fans with the idea that Roman could finally snap.

John Cena benefited from that direction at several points in his similarly controversial career. The smarks would constantly be sucked in and convinced the heel turn was imminent. And the Cenation would then be buoyed at Cena's conviction to stick with his principles.

It is a way for WWE to work the boo boys, bringing their criticism into the storyline and having it become a part of Reigns' character. He's always going to be a face, but by having him always on the edge, he'll be even more interesting. He can't just be a clear cut good guy, the last few months they tried that and it was boring.
