10 New Finisher Possibilities For Roman Reigns' WWE Return
4. The Emerald Fusion
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiekv0Pop8U&noredirect=1 I have to admit, Im a little bit biased on this entry because the Emerald Fusion is one of my personal favorite wrestling moves. That said, its a good choice for Roman Reigns because it, like the other moves on this list, demonstrates power. However, this isnt the same move as the Scoop Powerslam used by Randy Orton, nor the front Powerslam variations used by Kane or Sheamus. The Emerald Fusion is basically a Sitout Side Powerslam, with the user dropping their opponent to their side instead of directly in front of them. Furthermore, the Emerald Fusion is usually angled in such a way where it looks like the user lands directly on their lower neck and shoulders, instead of their back. By this point in the article, were moving away from maneuver choices based exclusively on their appearance, and were really pushing the unique factor of the move. In the case of the Emerald Fusion, it has never been used in a WWE Ring. Giving a wrestler a unique move is always a great way to make them stand out from the rest, and given the overabundance of some of Romans other moves, this would make a nice change. However, when some people think Powerslam they dont necessarily think finisher, but instead signature move; i.e. they dont think it can be a match-ending move. This is why, if Reigns were to use this move, he would have to save it for a big match, to put it over as more than just an ordinary Powerslam.
