10 New Main Event Megastars WWE Are Secretly Building

Triple H is cooking up some fresh headliners. WWE's main event scene is about to hit different!

The word "secretly" implies that people don't see any of this coming, and that's not true. You have eyes. Anyone who tunes into WWE TV routinely can see what's going on. The pro wrestling audience is smarter than some might give it credit for (thank social media's toxic churn for that!), and most understand how on camera action reflects board room confidence in certain wrestlers.

Triple H is content to take his time with most on this list though, and that's a good thing. The WWE boss is playing the long game with a few of them. Will they all go on to become multi-time World Champs who headline countless WrestleMania supercards? No, of course not, but all Hunter can do is back his roster and give them every tool to succeed.

He's doing that.

Wrestling is a rush to some folks. They want Hall Of Fame careers now, and aren't prepared to enjoy the ride. They'd have nothing to worry about if they were paying close attention to episodes of Raw, SmackDown and NXT in 2024. This company's future is very bright, especially when it comes to those who'll sit snugly at the top a few years from now.

Acknowledge the future.

10. Austin Theory

Arrogant jock heel Austin Theory has had more false starts than your average rookie playing Mario Kart for the first time, but his potential is limitless. Yes, that sounds like the kind of thing JR would've said about any number of samey generic muscle men from the mid-2000s, but it's true. Theory hasn't actually got started yet.

That's amazing when you consider he was Vince McMahon's pet project and is a former Money In The Bank winner. Being honest, Triple H has been frustratingly slow to pull off Theory's inevitable turn on partner Grayson Waller. The pair have been busy as a team, but the true untapped potential is Austin showing his chops as a babyface.

Anyone who has met the guy away from the ring or witnessed how he interacts with young fans at meet and greets can attest to how likeable Theory is. He's a friendly dude and has personality coming out of his ears. It's about time WWE let him show that, then let the dude fly as a face sensation.

Or, maybe he needs a spell on the indy scene to find himself like Drew McIntyre. Who knows?
