10 New Tag Teams WWE Needs To Create

4. Apollo Crews & Tye Dillinger

Think back to Apollo Crews and Akira Tozawa uniting under the Titus O'Neil banner and you'd be forgiven for a quick shudder. That was not the best use of Crews, and his obvious skill as a worker is hidden behind short, dull matches. If he has any hopes of progressing, Apollo needs something better to work with, otherwise he'll continue to dwindle down the card.

Fellow NXT graduate Tyler Breeze benefited from being put with Fandango in a tag-team that seemed throwaway at the time. Now, Breezango are relevant due to their own creativity. What's the harm in trying something similar with Crews and Tye Dillinger? The 'Perfect 10' is hardly setting things on fire over on SmackDown anyway.

Both men share NXT history and had several matches against one another. If Raw and SmackDown make a quick trade and O'Neil is allowed to work as a proper manager who cuts promos talking up his new team as men who know one another well, there's a chance the Crews/Dillinger combination could get somewhere.
