9. Angel Garza (WWE)

The former Garza Jr. may be closer to stardom today had his WWE signing gone down when it was supposed, but a shoulder injury uncovered during his 2018 hiring process left the 26-year-old stranded. Fortunately, the contract offer didn't vanish while he was healing, and the third-generation luchador was scooped up in WWE's April 2019 Performance Center class.

Rechristened Angel Garza, he debuted in William Regal's Breakout Tournament on the 26 June episode of NXT. Smooth, slick, and charismatic, he entered a crowd-popping performance versus Joaquin Wilde, the former DJZ, highlighted by his own version of Taichi's pants-tearing spot. He leaked charm and magnetism in his pre-match interview, too, suggesting that if he tightens his cadence up, Garza's going to be a huge, huge star in this promotion.

He's good looking, a decent size at 6'1"/207lbs, and has already demonstrated his ability to connect in Full Sail University. Doing so in larger buildings will prove tougher, but he has passed every test so far and while he lost to fellow newcomer Jordan Myles in the tournament's second round, big things should be expected soon.
