Despite all that’s been said in this article so far, we need to remember that Lesnar’s anything but a full-time performer. During his recent run, the most PPVs he’s managed in a year was the five he mustered in 2015, plus the occasional WWE Network special.

This year, he’s already appeared at the Royal Rumble, Fast Lane, WrestleMania, and now SummerSlam—plus the WWE Roadblock special back in early March-time. Based on that, how many more shows can we realistically expect to see Lesnar feature on? Maybe just one or two? Or possibly even none at all?

You could make a case for an appearance at Survivor Series, but the company may decide to simply bide their time and hang on until January’s Royal Rumble for his next major appearance. That way his involvement could transition smoothly into a WrestleMania role, although once again we have the dilemma of how to book him.

Surely no one would be able to prevent him from winning the Rumble outright, but then do you really want him challenging for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania? Possibly not when there are other, more lucrative, options to pursue…
