10 Next Steps For Brock Lesnar After WWE SummerSlam 2016

3. Brock Lesnar Vs. Shane McMahon

As great as Brock vs. Rock would be, the availability of the latter part of the equation puts the potential meeting in jeopardy. In which case, one contest that would certainly be more feasible would be Brock Lesnar vs. Shane McMahon.

Not only is Shane currently with the company, but Lesnar’s F5 to the SmackDown COO in the closing moments of SummerSlam means that this story's perfectly poised to be picked up further down the line.

I know it doesn’t quite compare to the previous entry in terms of its star-power, but remember the situation at this year’s WrestleMania; swathes of the audience were writing off Shane ahead of his match with the Undertaker, and yet he went on to provide us with one of the all-time great WrestleMania moments.

Granted, the rest of the match wasn’t much to shout about, but the sheer spectacle of Shane’s stunt made up for that to a degree.

Another point regarding this “special attraction” type of meeting is that it wouldn't necessarily need to take place at WrestleMania, and could perhaps come around somewhat sooner. But with Shane likely to damn-near kill himself in the process, they should probably save that kind of moment for the biggest stage of all.
