10 Non-Wrestlers AEW Should Sign

4. Jim Johnston

Role: Music Production

There's not really much to say here besides the fact that Jim Johnston still, at the age of 59, makes wrestling theme songs that absolutely SLAP. Before being released by WWE in 2017 (ending a 32 year affiliation with the company) the man was responsible for some of the most iconic tunes of the '90s and '00s - whether you were a wrestling fan or not.

It's not something that gets admitted all that often because if flies in the face of everything the industry preaches about substance and psychology, but good music is vital. With content so much easier to share and distribute now, having a great theme genuinely gives a wrestler an absolute open goal to make a success of themselves. I mean, just look at Bobby Roode...

Johnston already has a burgeoning relationship of sorts with the group, having appeared at All In's Starrcast last year. If AEW can turn his considerable talents to soundtracking their new stars, they'd give themselves a big advantage.
