10 Non-Wrestlers WWE Or AEW Should Sign

6. Salina De La Renta

MLW's Salina De La Renta
Major League Wrestling

Sometimes it is difficult to believe that Salina de la Renta is only 23 years old.

The Puerto Rican star is one of a new crop of young talents who seem to have been doing this for decades, displaying confidence and veteran instincts that belie their relative inexperience. Sure, some might point to the quality of the performers she has managed and claims quality by osmosis, but that simply doesn't hold water. Wrestling history is littered with attempts to combine the great and the ghastly, after all.

Salina has a lot more to offer than an engaging presence outside the ring. A major part of MLW from top to bottom, in 2019 she became the first Latina to executive produce a pro wrestling show on American national television, something she accomplished at the age of just 22. There is a long way to go in this career, to say the least.

Currently signed to MLW, it is only a matter of time before WWE or AEW comes knocking on de la Renta's door. Either company would be all the better for bringing her on board.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
