10 Non-Wrestlers WWE Or AEW Should Sign

4. Thea Trinidad

It'll take something drastic for Thea Trinidad to return to WWE.

Why would she go back? The former Zelina Vega was released in November, a release that became a major news story when Trinidad tweeted her support for unionization later in the day. Were the two things related? There is plenty of conjecture to that measure but it is likely that her contract was pulled because she was a vehement opponent of the third-party platform ban. Either way, it would be a shock to see her back in WWE again.

Her work alongside Andrade should have put to bed any doubts over her quality. WWE may have lost sight of the art of the manager but Zelina Vega was a clear success, providing the former United States Champion with a valuable presence at ringside, not to mention an excellent mouthpiece. If she has any interest in returning to mainstream professional wrestling, AEW would be foolish to miss out.

Of course, Trinidad may want to draw a line under her pro wrestling career and concentrate on other gigs. AEW has no shortage of managers but she would certainly offer something different, something fascinating.
