10 Non-Wrestling Roles For The Undertaker At WrestleMania 31

2. Announcing His Retirement

Recent photos of the exhausted Undertaker would seem to indicate that his days as an active performer are behind him. However, neither he nor WWE has officially gone on record and said that he's retired. That's probably worked out in their favor, as it has led to a lot of speculation that there's still a chance he could return to the ring for WrestleMania 31. Come 'Mania, however, it would be in WWE's best interest to finally address the matter. If years go by and Undertaker never wrestles another match, then it'll become obvious he's done. But they could create a lot of buzz if they hyped up an announcement from Undertaker at WrestleMania regarding his in-ring future. This could be done to tease retirement and instead have Sting interrupt and challenge him to a match at the next year's WrestleMania. If not, it would be the perfect place for him to announce that he's hanging up the boots for good. It'd have much more of an impact than if he were to deliver the big news on an episode of Raw or via an interview. It'd also be fitting for him to close out his career on the same stage that made him the legend he is today. A standing ovation from tens of thousands of people would be well deserved by The Deadman.
