2. Bret Hart Returns To WWE And Makes Peace With Shawn Michaels After 12 Years Of Pain
On January 4 2010, Bret Hart returned to the WWE after twelve years away. It was a moment that none of us ever thought possible, given the circumstances around Hart's departure in 1997 and the death of his brother in a WWF ring in 1999. Just seeing Hart come back out to the WWE ring was enough nostalgia to set some fans crying. When he then called out former nemesis Shawn Michaels and buried the hatchet, it put the segment into overdrive. Here we were, seeing two guys who genuinely hated each other in the 90's, finally coming full circle to peace. It has since been confirmed that this segment was a legitimate shoot. For all the memories it conjured and the true meaningfulness, this really was a special moment in WWE Raw history.
