10 Nostalgic WWE Moments That Made Fans Cry

3. Eddie Guerrero And Chris Benoit Reunite At The End Of WrestleMania 20

This was a moment that has been wiped from history, following on from Chris Benoit's double homicide and suicide in 2007. But at the time of WrestleMania 20 in 2004, the Benoit / Guerrero ending was one of the most emotional moments in smart mark history. Smart fans had followed Benoit and Guerrero from their days in Japan, ECW, WCW and as The Radicalz in WWF. To now see the technicians reunited as individual world champions was very special. Benoit won the World Title by forcing Triple H to tap in the spectacular main event which also featured Shawn Michaels. When Benoit turned around to celebrate with his title, there was Eddie Guerrero already in the ring with his WWE Title, which he had retained earlier in the evening against Kurt Angle. Floods of nostalgia came rushing back as tears started to swell. This was the same two guys who had dazzled for years when working their way up through the indies and other major brands. They'd always been held back by politics and their size. To see them reuniting as the two top guys in WWE was wonderfully moving.
