10. He Hates The WWE PG Era

Story: "It€™s brutal. I can't watch it. I can't connect with it. I no longer know this business. I don't do PG wrestling. Love me or hate me, when I was there everyone took one look at me and knew I could beat someone up." Those were Batista's very strong words in a Daily Star interview from December 2011. He left the company over a year earlier after quitting during a match with John Cena. He started on WWE's main roster in 2002, so he spent nearly a decade as a full timer that worked a heavy schedule. It was understandable why he would leave. It took him four years to come back to WWE and he turned 45 years old this year, so the PG era is likely a strong reason why he left in the first place. Why People Believe It: Since he had nothing to do with WWE in 2011 he had no reason to lie or give a fake answer. It came across as his honest opinion. Should We Believe It: Yes. Batista's an aggressive guy that once got in trouble for blading, that likes to swear a lot on social media meaning he likely does in person too and he's an old school type of wrestler that had a tough time adapting to the PG version of WWE. Maybe if WWE wasn't PG after 2008 he would have stayed longer.
