10 NXT Stars Vince McMahon Will DESTROY On WWE's Main Roster
5. WALTER
In a different era, WALTER could have been a major WWE headliner. His presence, aura, size, and punishing style would've made him the perfect monster to face Bruno Sammartino in Madison Square Garden main events, making the big Austrian a very, very rich man. That's not to say he's outdated, though: in fact, much of WALTER's success comes from his modernisation of approaches and techniques that have been around for decades, though he would've flourished under Vince McMahon Sr.
But this isn't that era, and Vince McMahon Jr. isn't his father.
WALTER is currently king of the mountain on NXT UK, having wrested that beautiful British belt from Pete Dunne's dominant clutches at TakeOver: New York. His Imperium stable will rule the developmental offshoot for months to come. On top of this, the 31-year-old reportedly isn't interesting in moving to America full-time, with his current deal allowing him to stay in Germany while working the odd NXT UK show. These things make a 2019 call-up unlikely, though circumstances change quickly in this company.
His lack of spoken English and bodybuilder physique mean Vince McMahon would almost certainly miscast WALTER, and there's no way his chest-peeling chops would be allowed either.
