10 NXT Superstars That Will Struggle On WWE's Main Roster

7. American Alpha - Not Enough Other Teams To Work With

In record time, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable became the most beloved tag team in NXT. It's easy to see why as their in-ring abilities and infectious personality make them a hard team not to love. While the pair's comedic timing will likely translate over to the main roster, their in-ring prowess is a bit trickier. It's not that the won't still be great in the ring there so much as they'll likely suffer from overexposure and repeat match-ups. NXT's tag-team division isn't necessarily more stacked than WWE's, but there American Alpha does benefit from only having to work a prolonged tag match every few weeks or so. A couple months of weekly matches and monthly PPV's on the main roster, however, will quickly deplete the number of matchups that American Alpha will have with teams on their level. There simply aren't that many in the first place. Imagining American Alpha having a prolonged, successful WWE run requires you to imagine WWE investing in their tag team division more than they have in the last decade or so. That's a bit of a stretch.
