Finn Bálor has over 14 years experience wrestling all over the world. The Irishman made his name in the UK, turning out for promotions such as NWA UK Hammerlock before trying his hand at the notoriously difficult Japanese dojo systems, which developed the technical, lightening quick style you see today. Bálor made his name in New Japan Pro Wrestling, winning three IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championships, six IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships and two 'Best of the Super Juniors' tournaments. Pro Wrestling Illustrated named Bálor the 30th best singles wrestler in the PWI 500 in 2014. Bálor's name honours his heritage by incorporating two Irish myths; the warrior Finn McCool and Balor, the king of the Fomorians. He certainly showed form befitting of warrior McCool on the NXT debut as he dismantled The Ascension and leaving the Universe in shock. Bálor has since formed an alliance with Hideo Itami and looks set to live up to his huge reputation and make a big impact in 2015.
