Ah, you can never fail to garner heat in wrestling, by having a heel play guitar and sing badly. From Austin to Jarrett, it's a surefire way to antagonize an audience and providing the terrible licks on the NXT roster, is none other than "The Drifter" Elias Samson.

His entrance is essentially just him on a chair, trying to be Johnny Cash and it's so bad, it has the tendency to be accompanied by an avalanche of boos. That's even with a sometimes heel-friendly NXT crowd too, so the dude is really managing to inspire some deep-seated vitriolic hate here.

There's no doubt too that one day, someone will walk out and smash the guitar over his head during his entrance and it'll probably create the single greatest pop ever heard and you'll never see Samson again in this persona. Until then, the drifter will keep on drifting.
