Recordholder: 2018 Women’s Rumble, 10

When WWE finally decided to establish a women’s Royal Rumble, you knew that several of the legends of yesteryear would want an opportunity to compete, having missed out during their heyday. So it wasn’t surprising that several legends took part in the first women’s Rumble in 2018.

What might surprise you is that one-third of the field – 10 – were either legends or Hall-of-Famers: Lita, Trish Stratus, Vickie Guerrero, Torrie Wilson, Molly Holly, Jacqueline, Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, Brie Bella and Kelly Kelly.

Looking at that list, none of the names are really surprising. Many of them made significant marks in the company during the 90s and 2000s. Seven of them are in the WWE Hall of Fame today, and it wouldn’t be shocking if two or all three of the others aren’t inducted at some point.
