10 Obscure WWE WrestleMania Facts You'll SWEAR Aren't Real

4. The Voice Of WrestleMania

These days, WWE bills its longtime announcer Michael Cole as “The Voice of WWE,” a distinction that might seem sacrilegious to fans who grew up listening to Jim Ross, Gorilla Monsoon or Jesse “The Body” Ventura.

But the truth is, Cole has outlasted those legendary voices. In fact, this year, he will call his 25th WrestleMania (24 consecutively), which will actually tie him with Monsoon and Ross, who called 25 Manias combined.

Shockingly, Cole does not hold the record for WrestleManias at the commentary desk.

Spanish language commentator Carlos Cabrera called 28 consecutive WrestleManias, beginning with WM 10 in 1994 and continuing through WrestleMania 37 in 2021.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Cole will catch up to and pass Cabrera at the turn of the decade. Regardless, it’s mind-boggling to realize that Michael Cole has been seated at ringside for as many WrestleManias as two legendary voices like Gorilla and JR combined.
