10 Observations From Attending EVOLVE 67 Live

6. Bad Zack

Zack Sabre Jr. has been a popular star in EVOLVE for a long time, but for some reason, the fans at EVOLVE 67 turned on him as the match went on. Maybe it was because Alexander was so great, or maybe they were all in an Olympic state of mind - after all, there were shouts and chants of "USA" at Sabre's expense. In any event, Sabre started working heel on the fly, eventually winning the match.

After the bout, the talented Englishman demanded a microphone and cut a promo that, while not flashy, got his point across. He insulted the fans for getting on his case, then made it perfectly clear that he was focused and after one thing - the EVOLVE Championship. Sabre put Timothy Thatcher on notice, as well as anyone else who might think about making a run at the organization's heavyweight belt.

Being that Timothy Thatcher finally wrapped up his feud with the Catch Point stable later in the show, it's not clear exactly what his next move will be. A feud with Sabre could work, as ZSJ attempts to add another prestigious independent belt to his collection.
