It's hard not to feel sorry for Roman Reigns. While one could argue that a more versatile superstar (like The Rock or John Cena) would be able to make lemons out of lemonade in Reigns's position, the fact remains that the former Shield member really has his back against the wall. It's great to be a wrestling promotion's hand-picked star, but Vince McMahon's stubbornness and out-of-touch-i-ness ensure that Reigns will never, ever get over as a babyface without a heel run first. Fans hated Reigns at Raw last night, and while they cheered Triple H at times, he wasn't winning the crowd over. In fact, this may go down as the first WrestleMania go-home Raw where the final segment drew "Boring" chants. Reigns ended up taking out HHH (and half the heel roster) with a huge tope, but all that did was prompt the fans to chant "You still suck!" At this point, anti-Reigns sentiment is even higher than it was heading into last year's WrestleMania. The only way to salvage the situation is to turn him heel, and while WWE has made it clear they don't want to do that, they're running out of options. Sunday should be very interesting - either the company will relent, or we very well may see the worst-received main event in WrestleMania history.
