Fans were excited to see Charlotte and Becky Lynch go one on one on Raw (though they would have preferred to have seen Sasha Banks, who was ringside, in action). That excitement quickly faded, though, when it became clear that the match was going to go longer than 60 seconds. Bored fans (who, to be fair, had already sat through two hours' worth of prelim matches) chanted for Sasha, which was all well and good, but they soon began moving on to other subjects, like CM Punk. In fact, Punk received quite a bit of free publicity throughout the course of the night. The complete disregard for the action in the ring made the Divas' Revolution - which has been on an upswing since the beginning of the year - feel like it was well and truly dead. The same thing happened later in the show when Paige (who got a good pop coming out) took on Emma to complete apathy. In this match, at least, the women were able to win the crowd back over, with "Let's go, Becky!" chants audible by the end. Charlotte picked up the win, putting the cap on a tumultuous six and a half minutes.
