10 Observations From Attending WWE Raw Live

3. Behold The King

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJuXKeiM4_0 Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were all over Raw - and when they weren't on, the company made sure to remind us who the real stars were via music videos hyping Triple H's latest Muscle & Fitness spread and the like. All in all, Motorhead's "King of Kings" played a lot throughout the night, eventually reaching near-humorous levels of repetition. WWE intentionally delineates HHH's theme songs from one another - when he's wrestling, he comes out to longtime theme song "The Game," but when he's in corporate mode, it's the newer (but still ten years old) "King of Kings." Last night, HHH was all business (and I mean suit and tie business, not the exciting wrestling kind), so "King of Kings" it was. Despite how many times I've heard the song on TV over the years, "The Game" would have been a nice change of pace. And don't even get me started on person favorite "Line in the Sand."
