7. Puke Killed Hawk
WWE.comEveryone remembers the Legion of Doom, right? This iconic duo of Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal cracked more than a few heads in their time at WWE but does anyone remember the third member in their stable? Probably not, but it happened. In a storyline that saw Road Warrior Hawk's real-life drug and alcohol addictions making an on stage appearance (a decision neither Hegstrand or Laurinaitis were happy with) The Legion of Doom began falling to pieces. As Hawk would constantly make his way down to the ring seemingly intoxicated or drugged up to the eyeballs, Animal found it hard to keep the team functional and together. To help with the burden of Hawk's demons, a third member was introduced. Puke. This whole scenario climaxed when a suicidal Hawk climbed to the top of the Titantron. A concerned Puke chased after him but in a shocking twist pushed Hawk to his death once he'd got to the top. Puke then revealed that he'd been enabling Hawk's drug addiction all this time in the hopes that Hawk would eventually kill himself so Puke could take his place in the Legion of Doom. Yeah, that plan might have worked better if you didn't reveal it/commit murder on TV. This storyline was so bad that after Hawks "death" Hegstrand and Laurinaitis both legitimately left the company in protest of being forced to act out real personal issues for the whole world to see.
