10 One-Off Wrestling Tag Teams We Wanted More Of

3. Lita & Chyna

For the following entry, it's not about what was as much as it's about what could have been.

Throughout a bulk of the Attitude Era, there were several popular women wrestlers within WWE, but few had name-value comparable to Chyna and Lita.

Each performer made their own unique mark in WWE history, with Chyna presented as an unrivalled monster in the women's division and Lita winning over fans with her fast-paced Lucha Libre move set.

When the two mega powers of the women's division came together, though, it wasn't exactly what fans had hoped for.

Rather than decimate Ivory and Molly Holly during their one-off tag team match, it was another screwy WWE set-up in which Chyna ultimately tried to embarrass her rival partner.

The concept of tagging up Lita and Chyna was still intriguing nonetheless, and it was a real shame the two Hall of Famers never formed a formal partnership at least once. Who knows what would have happened if the duo continued working together? We might have gotten the Women's Tag Team Championships decades ago. Probably not, but maybe. We'll never know, as WWE squandered the opportunity in the most WWE of ways.
